МMufti Muhammad Taki Usmani is the most authoritative researcher of our time in the field of fiqh property relations. He is the chairman of the Sharia Council of the international organisation that publishes the standards of Islamic banks (AAOIFI, Bahrain), heading the Sharia councils of several large Islamic banks around the world.

Sheikh Usmani attended the Higher School of Economics at the invitation of the Institute for Law and Development in April 2019, when he attended the XX April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development and delivered a lecture on the features of Islamic finance. At the same time, a detailed discussion of the Agrofinmost project took place and the sheikh agreed to enter the Project Council.
